About TabSRMM and this blog
In the old days, this blog was my main online repository about all things related to my open source projects which mainly consists of activities related to the Instant Messenger Miranda. In recent years, I contributed a few plugins and the most important one is probably TabSRMM, a very feature-rich and extendedly customizable messaging dialog.
All the technical articles about using and configuring the plugin were moved to the Wiki and this Wiki shall continue to be the main online resource for all TabSRMM-related things. In fact, the plugin itself links to some of the Wiki pages when the user clicks a Help button, so the articles must stay where they currently are.
TabSRMM version 3 and possible end of development
Version 3 of the TabSRMM plugin was released in Summer 2010, almost a year ago. It was a major rewrite of the previous version 2 with a number of new features and many improvements in usability. It should be easier to configure and use, but it is still a very feature-rich plugin, targeted at experienced users who seek maximum control over their instant messaging options and features. Reading the documentation on the Wiki is essential to successfully use the plugin.
Because I do see the plugin more or less finished and I do no longer feel it's worth to invest more time, you should not expect any major new features in the future. I'll try to continue supporting TabSRMM as good as I can when time allows, fixing bugs and applying minor improvements to existing features. If you find any bugs, you should report them on the official Miranda issue tracker. Before doing so, please read the guidelines for reporting issues and try to follow them as good as you can. I'll most likely reject reports which are unclear or do not describe a problem in a way that makes it easy to reproduce the issue. The time I can devote to the development of TabSRMM is currently very limited, so I need to work efficiently. A detailed bug report can help a lot.
About the fate of this blog
In the future, this blog will only hold announcements about important changes in the plugin. Everything else, you'll either find on the Wiki (documentation) or on the official Miranda IM home page. Beginning with Miranda 0.9, TabSRMM is now officially part of the so-called contrib package - a collection of the most popular plugins for Miranda. The contrib package is always updated when a new Miranda release is announced, so all you need to do is to update the contrib package to receive the most recent version of TabSRMM. See the downloads page for more on this.
Technical documentation will be on the Wiki and only on the Wiki. But if you want to keep yourself informed about new releases, you can do this easily by subscribing to the tabsrmm category of this blog with your favorite RSS reader.

- My googlecode site - for downloading preview versions and reporting issues.
- The official miranda forum with a support thread dedicated to TabSRMM.
The blog itself will continue as a more generic blog where I write about everything I feel a need to comment on, but the vast majority will probably be technical articles.
