Here is a quick list of how to obtain the most recent versions of my plugins. Beginning with Miranda 0.9.0, there is now an official "plugin pack" for every new 0.9.x release. The plugin pack contains up-to-date versions of some of the most popular plugins and TabSRMM is part of it.

TabSRMM Version 2

Discontinued and no longer supported. No official downloads available.

TabSRMM Version 3 (current stable, compatible with Miranda 0.9.x ONLY)

Available from the official Miranda download pages. You need to download one of the contrib packs (links on the same page) which will always contain most up-to-date versions of the following plugins:

  • TabSRMM Version 3.x
  • Clist Nicer+ 0.9.x
  • clist_modern
  • scriver
  • clist_mw

So, when you update your Miranda core, you should also update your contrib pack. Note that most plugins may also be available via the updater plugin, but not everyone is using it and updater does not (yet) work on x64.

Alpha/beta/development builds

If available, you can obtain them from my my googlecode site. They are released infrequently and may be horribly broken. You have been warned.

Also, Alpha builds of Miranda usually contain a current TabSRMM build and are released infrequently on the official development build forum.

Information about obtaining the source code can be found here.

The only help I can give: read the docs. Icons have NOTHING to do with the C++ runtime. You just failed to install the icon pack. Everything is mentioned in the docs, really.

Hello. I've missing an old plugin, maybe you could include it to tabsrmm. It's called winter's speach plugin, basically it's a plugin that uses SAPI 5 to read what people are writing (it's quite configurable).

Unfortunately, it's not working well with new versions of tabsrmm, it's not detecting correctly if a message window is open, so it speaks all the time. I guess it would be a nice feature to integrate speach support to tabsrmm. It's quite useful too, especially when you are not near the computer and you want to know who typed. I have the sourcecode of winter's plugin.

I do not plan to integrate such a feature ever.

I consider it pretty much useless and it would bloat the plugin in an unnecessary way.

Things like these should be done as an external plugin - that's what plugins are for - to provide additional functionality not needed by everyone.

Nightwish, thanks for this plugin! There is one problem - as Inokeeper wrote, in 1.0.0.0 / 1.0.0.1 text direction changes to RTL when switching EnglishRussian layout with Ctrl-Shift. This affects only message typing window - when I send message, everything is on rught place.

After this happens, switching back is possible when checking and then uncheking "Switch RTL for this contact".

    Thank you.

    Inokeeper, подтверждаю.

    Thank you.

This is not a problem. It is correct behavior for bidirectional text edit controls.

Nightwish, is it correct, that switching to RTL mode occures when I press Ctrl-Shift? Both English and Russian are LTR (Left-To-Right) languages!

To fix this UNWANTED switching, I have to Check and then Uncheck "Switch RTL for this contact".

But why it switches to RTL by Ctrl-Shift?
