[thumb:7:l:l=d]With the addition of 2 features to the skinning engine, it is now fairly complete and only needs some polishing until it will be published.

A new skin item is available which can be used to skin the border of any avatar on the list. This can by a 32bit png image with per-pixel transparency, and will just be painted "over" the avatar - so there are some nice effects possible - it can be used to colorize the avatars or to give them a nice border.

The scroll bar is now skinnable.

Skinnable and freely placeable buttons have been added.

The screenshot should illustrate it well enough

A release including a sample skin should be available soon

    Yes, this is realy great.

Only got one well actually 2 questions...

Will this work good on Classic win theme and will autosizing feature work with it?, from the SVN builds the autosizing seems to missdraw the border aswell as the colors seems a bit off... but then again these issues might be part of your development.. so i'm just wondering if you plan to have it to work with classic theme and autosizing feature of the clist.

    Great work, raXuz

Yes, it will work without a visual style and autosize works fine in the latest builds. It should even work on Windows 2000, and (with some limiations) on Win 98 or ME.

The only thing is that you should *not* use gradients for skinning the frame borders. It is, because the gradients are optimized for small areas (like single contact rows) and are therefore slow and inaccurate on bigger areas. My sample skin uses a .png image to draw the frame border which works much better.

Awesome...this will most likely make me switch to Clist Nicer. I'm defenitely gonna make a skin with these new features anyway.

    Hi again..

Wow, no more graphic glitches, it looks great now...

I only have one thing to report left and that is the vertical scrollbar, when using autosizing it won't "autosize" the clist so the scrillbar goes away, i have it set so it should but no matter how much i set it to use more screen still it won't hide the scrollbar. Only way to hide it is to turn of the autosizing or select the feature "hide vertical scrollbar" perhaps this issue is somthing that is included in the "polishing" you talked about earlier.

Ps. The clist is just getting better and better :)

It works fine for me, so either disable autosize or the scroll bar and don't use both.

I don't use both. Only autosize i only explained what i had to do to get rid of the scrollbar.

I prbebly works for you since you don't use classic win theme, i have no problem whatsoever to reproduce it on another computer.
